We make small lot estate grown Pinot Noir. We are happy to share with you our Estate grown Magna Porcum (Big Pig) Pinot Noir from the Green Valley of Russian River Valley. We make approximately 400 cases a year. We also have a fantastic Whole Cluster Rosé of Pinot Noir in very limited quantities.
CRAIG STREHLOW: The former winegrower/winemaker with Keefer Ranch and Keefer Ranch Wines. He managed the vineyard and crafted a single vineyard Pinot Noir that, among the other notable wines from the property, helped gain the vineyard great recognition among Pinot Noir fans near and far.
ALAN CAMPBELL: A Sonoma County native and local photographer/cinematographer has focused for the past 27 years on capturing the beauty and romance of the wine country, while spending time since 2006 cultivating his Big Pig Vineyard.
CRAIG: I make the wine with input from Alan. Our aim is to craft wines that have a sense of balance and place. We strive for good acidity, ripe tannins, rich fruit with a hint of French Oak. We let the fruit and vintage speak by implementing low input winemaking. Being in control of the farming in our estate vineyard allows us to closely manage variables and bring you a truly handcrafted product.
ALAN: Craig makes great wine, which along with our being good friends, is why we went into business together. I own and manage four acres of Pinot Noir near Graton, a vineyard that I’ve named Big Pig Vineyard. We are currently releasing t he fourth vintage this year of our Single Vineyard Estate Wine, Magna Porcum. We also have a very special bottling of Whole Cluster Rosé of Pinot Noir from the vineyard.
We thank you for your interest in trying our wines. Please contact us with any questions or to schedule a private tasting. You can place an order here on the site and we will get it to you asap. We’d love to chat with you and share what’s happening in our little corner of wine country.
Cheers!
